H+ ion in aqueous solution is dissociated i.e released mainly by acids and this also represents the value of pH by
if concendration H+ ion is less than (10^{-7} ) acidic
(10^{-7} ) or os neutral
if more than (10^{-7} ) it is basic in nature

higher the concentration of h+ ions  in a solution ,more acidic is the solution.....................
