What effect does the pH of water have on radish seed germination?

\mathtt\green{Answer}

John G Mccoll and Robert Johnson (1983) , had observed same result in their study.

Germination rate in radish at pH 2 treatments reduced to 50% and at pH 4 and in control it was reduced to only 10% and at control radish shown 100% germination rate.

Radish seeds have a high percentage of germination in pH's 4-12 and a very low percentage of germination in pH 1-3 and pH 13-14. This shows that radish seeds can germinate very well in almost all pH levels.

What pH is best for seed germination?

\huge\mathfrak\blue{5.5 \: to \: 7.5}

  • When placed on saturated filter pa- per, most species germinated best at pH 5.5 to 7.5.
  • The pH range was less predictable for high germination peat medium.
  • The pH range for some species was narrower.
  • No optimum pH for each species was evident.

Answer:

Omg 50 points i know u are mad at for taking these points but i just need u to plz give me zoom code plz we never got to chat again plz jus plz

Explanation: oh btw The lower the pH, the weaker the plants will be in terms of germination and plant height. 2. If we lower the pH of the watering solution to acid rain, then plant growth will be delayed, or inhibited altogether.
