ans Alloys _ The resistance of alloys is increased with an increase in temperature. For special alloys, resistance is constant at all temperatures. Hence they are used to make standard resistance boxes.
e.g. Constantan, manganin, eureka, etc.
Metals _ In the case of conductors when the temperature is increased, resistance also increases i.e. R α T.
e.g. copper, aluminum, gold, silver, etc.
