A summary of the writer's claim
An analysis of the writer's concluding statements
An analysis of the writer's reasons and evidence
Explanation:
- An argumentative essay is a type of essay, which offers arguments from both sides of a problem/issue/topic. The two sides might be equivalent or the one argument might be more aggressively presented than the other. All depends on the writer and on which side he supports the most.
- There are three or four paragraphs in a standard argumentative essay explaining the arguments behind the thesis. Each body paragraph must include a different idea/piece of evidence and comprise a topic sentence which concisely and clearly explains why the reader must agree with your position
