The excavations of their habitat sites have shown that they had highly well developed and integrated sewer systems, public baths and manholes at regular intervals for the maintenance of sewers. Each house also had a bathroom connected to the main sewer system.

As for town planning, the civilisation was divided into three segments with the royals and nobles residing in a citadel, merchants and artisans in the middle city and the farmers and labourers in the outskirts of the city.
