Answer:Wave velocity is the velocity with which wave is propagating or velocity with which disturbance is moving. Bur particle velocity is the velocity with which particle is ocillating. Wave consist of huge no of oscillating particle. So particle velocity is the velocity of individual particle which is oscillating.
