Answer:

Explanation:

IFFCO or Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited  was founded in 1967 and has now become country`s biggest cooperative society owned by Indian Cooperatives.  The co-operative started with only 57 cooperatives which now has touched 36,000 Indian Cooperatives. The co-operative is engaged in various fields such as manufacturing and selling fertilisers (which is their core business), general insurance, and rural telecom.

The Marketing Division of IFFCO is entrusted with the job of supplying fertilisers to all corners of remote India.

In 1979 IFFCO  launched Cooperative Rural Development Trust (CORDET). It is involved in providing education and training to farmers. The three CORDET units established are at Kandla, Phulphur and Kalol.

CORDET plays an important role in making the farmers aware of the different farming system models which help them in having a reasonable farm income. These units often conduct programs for women and youth in enhancing their skill development through proper training. The Phulphur and Kalol units provides farmers with vital information relating to balanced fertilisers, crop production system, dairy,  pisciculture, use of bio-fertilisers,  computer use, tailoring and embroidery, screen printing, adult education programs, preservation of fruits and vegetables  etc.

Hope this helps.
