The process in which liquid converts into gas below its boiling point is called Evaporation.

Factors affecting it are-

1. Surface area-

Eg- We use a saucer to cool down tea because it has more surface area.

2. Temperature-

Temperature is basic factor as more the temperature faster the evaporation .

3. Humidity-

The amount of water vapour present in air also mattrer as less the humidity, higher it evaporates

4. Wind speed-

More the windspeed, higher the evaporation rate.
