The factors responsible for distribution of plants and animals in India are-

. Climate- India's climate is of monsoon type. The distribution of rainfall is different in various regions. So with varying amount of rainfall there are various types of vegetation all over the country.

. Soil-Soil determined the type of plants over a region. The types of plants found further determines the animals. The soil type is different in various areas due to physical features like mountains, plateau, coastal area, island and desert .

. Precipitation - The amount of rainfall determines the type of vegetation. In India rainfall amount varies place to place.

Ans:2. Bio-reserve is a natural forest preserved to protect Various species of birds, animals and plants.

Ans:3. Animals found in tropical vegetation are, elephants, lemur, monkeys, deer and rhinoceros.

Animals found in Montana forest are, Kashmiri stag, yak, snow leopard, Tibetian antelope, Jack rabbit .

Vegetation of high altitude is Montane forest. This types of vegetation is found in montaneous areas. With increasing altitude the vegetation differs. At 1000-2000m wet temperate vegetation is found.Here trees such as chestnut and pines are found. At altitude 1500-3000 m temperate forest is found. Trees found here are silver spruce and Friday. At altitude more than 3000m Alpine vegetation is found. Trees found here are junipers, pines and birches. At more high altitude shrubs and scrubs are found.

. Deforestation: Deforestation has been carried out in India to build buildings and industries. Thus this destroys homes of animals and plants.

. Hunting - For various commercial and business purposes animals are hunt for their skin,meat,hair and teeth.

.Poaching - Animals are poached for their body parts which are sold in foreign countries to get money.

.Pollution - Pollution of land, water and air has caused harm to plants and animals life and thus making them vulnerable and endangered.
