(3) proximity of large bodies of water,
(4) ocean currents,
(5) proximity of mountain ranges (topography),
(6) prevailing and seasonal winds.
Environment means the surrounding in which the plants, animals or human beings lives or operates.

Both biotic and abiotic factors affects the environment such as temperature, pressure, humidity and organisms like human activity. Some factors that affect environment are the following :
a) Greenhouse Effect - Green house gases like Carbon Dioxide, confines the sun's heat that increase the temperature of the earth.
b) Trees - They absorb large amount of Carbon Dioxide, and release oxygen and maintains a balance in the environment.
c) Population - Overpopulation affects the environment as it increases pollution and depletes the natural resources.
