When the earth moves, the position of the overhead sun is in a relative position to that of the latitudes. Thus when the overhead position of the sun is over the latitudes on which Ahmedabad and Kolkata lie, they are able to observe the overhead sun, but Delhi which lies above this latitude, does not experience a similair condition.
