hey mate,

here is your answer,

The United States was able to industrialize after the Civil War for a variety of reasons. The end of the Civil War created a large pool of cheap labor as both poor whites and former slaves left the South in droves looking for greater opportunities elsewhere. More European immigrants came to the United States, especially due to economic and political instability in Eastern and Southern Europe. All of this immigration combined with a lack of governmental regulation on business meant that businesses could use workers however they saw fit, oftentimes paying them low wages and putting them in dangerous situations.

There was also an increased demand for American goods. During the Civil War, the Union learned that it could produce large quantities of uniforms and food and ship them quickly thanks to railroads. The telegraph also allowed the Union forces instantaneous communication. After the war, this knowledge was applied to the private sector. The United States increased its industrial output considerably. Advertising became more modern and would soon become a science as producers sought the best ways to entice consumers. Increased colonization, especially in the Pacific, allowed the United States to get into world markets. Improved steel production and innovations such as the telephone and electric light bulb allowed businesses to expand, communicate, and to operate around the clock. These things were also deemed necessary by the individual consumer who sought to obtain the latest technology.

hope this helps you.
