The amount of heat gained by a body are dependent on these factors :-

(i) Rise in temperature

➡The difference in the temperature of the body and the temperature of the the body which is transferring the heat energy is the factor.

➡The more the difference the greater is the amount of heat.

➡ In other words , the more the rise in temperature after gaining heat , the more was the amount of heat.

(ii) Mass of the body.

➡The amount of heat needed to heat a body of more mass is more than that of less mass.

➡Thus the mass of a body is another factor .

(iii) Specific heat capacity.

➡The more the specific heat capacity of a body, the more will be the amount of heat required to raise the same temperature .

➡ Specific heat capacity depends on the material of the body.

Hope it helps you :-)
