The main reason for increase of temperature is intense of carbon dioxide gas in the air. By this increase of carbon dioxide gas in atmosphere this causes global warming. By this global warming the ice burgs in the poles are getting melted and it results in the increase of the sea water level.

Factors which could contribute to the early 20th century warming include increasing greenhouse gas concentrations, changing solar and volcanic activity, and internal variability of the coupled ocean-atmospheresystem.
