Animals solely depend of non-interference in their food chain.. the food chain consists of regular chain of the three trophic levels.. plants, herbivores, carnivores and scavengers. this cycle is very vital in the animal kingdom..

other than this, animals depend on basic necessities like fresh air, clean water, ample supply of food etc. Some animals are also territorial and excess space helps them to thrive..

hope this helps :))

Explanation:

Animals need food, water, shelter, and space to survive. Herbivores can live only where plant food is available. Carnivores can live only where they can catch their food. Omnivores can live in many places because they eat both plants and animals.
