  • Tamil speakers were not getting equal rights and facilities. They get all the facilities after the Sinhala Speaking People.
  • Their language was neglected and Sinhala Speaking people decided to make Sinhala as a National language.
  • Sinhala Speaking people wanted to make government by their own in which there would be no Tamil people.
  • The jobs, equality of Tamil speakers were in danger.
  • Tamil speakers demanded for separate State but their demand was not fulfilled and they became angry and this led to Civil war.
