the condition of women in early society was dangerous means because of dowry (दहेज/हुंडा)the womens were killed the cases are like women slips into the well, drown and die while washing clothes here men push them into well next women's sari pallu watches fire while cooking, here from back the fire was burnt.. such cases stilled to be continued..investigations still revealed dowry to be most frequent cause of such deaths..After dowry the sati was a inmiserable .. sati, domestic abuse, female foeticide..etc
