An adolescent has his/her joy and also fears.
We can look at the joy first then the fears.

Having boundless energy to participate in their preferred activities.
At this stage they have no burdens as they fully depend on their parents.
They discover more about their skills and hobbies.
They are able to make choices their lives.
They enjoy the feel of being responsible of their own lives.
THE FEARS
The fear of peer pressure and peer influence
The fear that people will notice their body changes.
The fear of not being understood by their parents.
Finding it hectic to deal with their physical and emotional changes.
