As we know, Summer is the warmest of the four temperate seasons, between spring and autumn so it basically the hottest season on earth. During this season the part of the earth which experiences summer is closest to the sun compared to the other parts. So, the very first feature experienced by our locality is heat.
We are all aware with the word 'Loo',a hot local wind, blows over north and north-west India. This is the very second feature experienced by our locality.
Also, The locally formed dust storms and thunder storms brings a variable amount of rainfall to different parts of the country especially in Punjab,Haryana,etc which causes relief and destruction as per range of falling. So the third feature experienced by our locality is heavy rainfall which even lead to potholes, stagnation of water, mosquito breeding etc.
