Tutankhamun was the famous king in the empire of Egypt. Tourists from around the world came to Egypt to visit the mummy of King Tut.

EXPLANATION:

Egypt has an ancient civilization. The emperors of Egypt are called Pharaohs. They believed in life after death. So they bury their emperors in tombs as mummies. They construct a 26 feet underground pit and keep the mummies in the golden coffin box and construct a tomb.

They keep the gold and treasures with the kings so that they can use it for their next life. Tut was the last king of his dynasty. His grandfather and father ruled the dynasty for many years. But Tut died at a very young age and ruled the dynasty for only 9 years. In 1922, a British archaeologist wanted to take out the mummy of Tut and wanted to find out how he has died suddenly, to know the reason for his death.

But he could not take the mummy out as the cement did not melt, they have to cut his body parts and did the research and kept it again in the tomb. Many tourists came to visit Tut’s gilded face and the golden coffin box which was believed to be kept 3300 years ago.
