When the tree is uprooted its white, wet and extremely sensitive, hidden roots are uncovered . Then it is scorched in sunlight and choked in air. This gradually leads to the browning, hardning, twisting and withering of the roots as it slowly chokes the life of the tree till it is finally killed.
