Given:-

  • Mass of the body = 1 kg

  • Final velocity = 30 m/s

  • Initial velocity = 20 m/s

  • Time take by body = 2 s

To Find :-

  • What force can change the velocity of mass 1 kg from 20 m/ s to 30 m/s in 2 seconds = ?

Solution:-

  • To calculate the force required when the final velocity to intial velocity from 30 m/s to 20 m/s in 2 seconds , at first we have to decrease final velocity from intial velocity then dividing by 2.

Calculation :-

==> Forced required = Final velocity - Intial velocity / 2

==> Forced required = (30 - 20) / 2

==> Forced required = 10 / 2

==> Forced required = 5 N

Hence,

  • The required Forced = 5 N

Answer:

Given :-

  • The velocity of a body of mass is 1 kg from 20 m/s to 30 m/s in 2 seconds.

To Find :-

  • What is the force that can change the velocity of a body.

Formula Used :-

\clubsuit Newton's Second Law :

\longmapsto \sf\boxed{\bold{\pink{Force =\: \dfrac{v - u}{t}}}}

where,

  • v = Final Velocity
  • u = Initial Velocity
  • t = Time

Solution :-

Given :

  • Initial Velocity (u) = 20 m/s
  • Final Velocity (v) = 30 m/s
  • Time = 2 seconds

According to the question by using the formula we get,

\implies \sf Force =\: \dfrac{30 - 20}{2}

\implies \sf Force =\: \dfrac{10}{2}

\implies \sf Force =\: \dfrac{\cancel{10}}{\cancel{2}}

\implies \sf Force =\: \dfrac{5}{1}

\implies \sf\bold{\red{Force =\: 5\: Newton}}

\therefore The force that can change the velocity of a body is 5 Newton .

Hence, the correct options is option no c) 5 N .
