Given ,

  • Displacement = 10 m
  • Work = 4000 J
  • Mass = 20 kg

We know that ,

  \large \sf \fbox{WORK = FORCE × DISPLACEMENT }

It can be written as ,

\large \sf \fbox{WORK = MA  × DISPLACEMENT }

Substitute the known values , we get

4000 = 20 × A × 10

A = 4000/200

A = 20 m/s²

Hence , 20 m/s² is the acceleration of the body
