The force exerted to keep a platform in equilibrium depends on it’s mass.

As F(NET force)=m(mass) * a(acceleration)

Fx = m * g(9.8)

Fy = T(tension of rope)

To Body be in equilibrium ,

Fx - Fy = 0

Fx = Fy

mg = T
