In the beginning,the Aryans worshiped the forces of nature such as Prithvi(Earth),Agni(fire),Vayu(wind),Indra(rain),Surya(sun) and Varun(sky).
Their most important god was Indra.
There were no idols.
Prayers were chanted on open air.
Rituals were simple.
Fire was an important part of such rituals.
