Travelling is one of the most popular and important aspect of human life. Families, friends, and individuals take up travelling for various reasons such as vacationing, as a hobby, business purpose etc. Lately, travelling has become a sort of a career and a lifestyle of its own.

However, sometimes travellers tend to forget that it is a collective experience with the people around them and cause unintended inconvenience to their fellow travelers. By incorporating certain guidelines into one’s travel, travellers can stop these inconveniences from occurring. A few of them are:

1. To avoid littering anywhere and instead, to make it a point to carry a separate garbage bag that can be disposed off later in a dustbin

2. To avoid playing loud music and instead, carry personal headphones

3. To avoid talking/conversing loudly in a place where silence is expected.

4. To avoid clicking photos without permission.

5. If travelling in a group, to be vary of everyone’s time and not wandering off separately to nearby places.

6. To inform people in the group if one wishes to go someplace else, to avoid general panic

7. Be vary and responsible about the local culture, local people, and surroundings and not to behave in any way that would hurt their sentiments or cause disrespect.

8. Follow the rules of the place that is being visited to avoid legal fines/complaints.
