finally John hallocks was able to convince his wife not to use ouija board as he had promised Helen. He even United back with him wife who was doubting him and their maid had also returned. John's wife was happy to know that it was the ghost Helen and not the Helen of Troy. So,the strike gets over and John once again gets an idea to write story.

With the end of the story approching near we see that johm is called a traitor by helen the ghost and all the women present in thr room are suspicious of john and his actions. His wife feels that he is cheating in him and decides to leave him. The next morning helen appears in front of lavina and the misunderstanding is cleared out. Lavina realises that it was this helen who called john a traitor and she considers herself to be foolish
