if chloroplast will not be there in leaf of plants

Chloroplast contain the pigment chlorophyll which absorb light energy from the sun for making food through the process of photosynthesis.

Light energy is an essential component for making food , if there are no chloroplasts present in the plants , plants cannot make their food. Hence they won’t be able to survive.

Oxygen is also released through photosynthesis, again there won’t be giving out oxygen.

Thus whole ecosystem will be destroyed.

Hope this helps!!
