Green leaves not being there, means there will be an absence of chlorophyll in the plant, which will obstruct the process of photosynthesis..

If green leaves are not there in plants then the following things will happen -

• The green leaves have the chlorophyll which helps to perform the photosynthesis process in the green plants.

• If the leaves become absent, then the photosynthesis will not happen in the plants.

•And,then the plants will not produce any food materials, which will take away their contribution as the producer of the environment.

• In this way,the whole environmental food chain will be disturbed.
