if the angle in the circle segment is right angle,  quadrant is the segment obtained.

  • We know that,
  • A circle has a total of 360° all the way around the centre.
  • Given,
  • the angle in the circle segment is a right angle
  • 90° × x = 360°
  • x = 360° / 90°
  • ∴ x = 4
  • When the circle is divided into 4 equal parts, each part will have 90°
  • And one-fourth part of the circle is called the quadrant.

  • If the angle in the circle segment is right angle i.e; {90\degree}Then the angle substended by it at the centre is {2×{90\degree}= {180\degree}}
  • Thus the line segment becomes the diametre and the circle segment becomes the semi circle
