What happen if there will be no rainforest?

It is a fact that trees, and plants absorb carbon dioxide in the atmosphere in order to produce oxygen. With the rapid depletion of the trees, the level of carbon dioxide is going down, which is increasing global warming. That is what would happen if all therainforests would be destroyed
