If supposed water is disappeared from the earth there will no trees or no greenery.
People would die, as plants and animals would die without water. We need water for many purpose but if water is disappeared there will be no life in earth.

The dam and the water stored in dams are used for various multipurpose.
Imagine life on earth without water, all flora and fauna even human being would die. Life will totally disappear on earth.
