What happen if we put a different voltage in parallel?

When putting multiple, varying voltagesources together in parallel, the totalvoltage is equal to the largest voltagesource. Putting batteries together inparallel only increases the amperage, but doesn't increase the voltage. When putting batteries together in series,you then add up the voltages.
