platelets are very important in fighting diseases. if platelets will not be there then it would be difficult for the body to fight diseases.

Heya,
Platelets are the small colourless disc like structured cell fragment without nucleus and present in the blood
Platelets helps to stop the bleeding by clumping and clotting blood vessel injuries.
If platelets are absent then, if there is any cut or injury in he skin the bleeding won't stop and as the result the injured person losses the blood and causes death of the person.
