If this will be the condition then all plants will grow at the same place and will fight for the nutrition and the growth will not be good. The grow will decrease and many of them will die also due to lack of nutrient.

If seeds are not dispersed in the atmosphere, there will be crowding of a species in the same locality. This would cause the plants or the seeds fighting with each other for their resources. The sunlight, water, and other nutrients from the locality should be shared between the trees if the same species.

This causes deprivation of nutrients to some of the plants thereby causing a truncated, growth and nutrient deprived plant to grow.
