What happen to beetroot color by lime water

Add beetroot extract in lemon juice solution,soda water,vinegar and baking soda solution note the colour change in each case

When Lime water is added to beetroot extract, the color changes according to the ph of the lime water and turns into Light red color as it is acidic in nature!

Here beetroot extract behaves as Natural Indicator.
