As Sputnik 2 wasn’t designed to return safely to Earth, Soviet space engineers had planned to euthanise Laika in orbit....

But while she undoubtedly died in space, her precise fate remains unclear as the radio link to Earth broke after a few orbits....

The most likely cause of death is thought to be the heat exhaustion....

Whatever the truth, her body was incinerated when her space capsule re-entered the Earth’s atmosphere and disintegrated in April 1958....

Laika was a street dog . One Scientist took him for a space adventure. That time the scientists only know how to go in space but don't know how to come back . The scientists made a spaceship of laika's size . But it was not a complete spaceship . when Laika was sent in space . The launcher which took the Sputnik 2 can't detach it from the space ship and temperature of the spaceship . The heartbeat of Laika increased due to immense heat .
After a while the Laika sensor stopped to send in information to earth . It revolved around the earth for 260 days and when it came inside the earth's atmosphere it blast and the laika and the spaceship disappeared in space .
