The sugar doesn't go anywhere .... it's in the solution of water .... but due the force exerted on the solution while sugar was in solid form it broked down into simpler sugar forms which got dissolved in the water ..... that's it

the sugar gets dissolved in the interparticle spaces of water, i. e., liquid.... we get to know that liquids' particles are not tightly packed and have interparticle spaces
