Explanation:
Food after digestion gets absorbed into blood. Through our circulatory system, digested food from small intestine and oxygen from lungs get distributed throughout our body . At cellular level digested food in the form of sugar is oxidized to produce required energy. This is also used for repair and replacement of cells wherever needed and also for the development of new tissues.
Part of this digested food reaches to liver where it is resynthesized in to required molecules. Excess food if any, is converted into fat and deposited in various body parts for future use.
