Blood contains haemoglobin ... When co2 reacts with blood or with haemoglobin. , Then carboxyhaemoglobin is formed which can sometimes cause suffocation and uncomciousness.

Blood becomes thick and the presence O2 decreases . Due to thickening of blood , blood stops flowing through the vessels . Thus after sometimes the person dies.

CO + haemoglobin = carbooxy haemoglobin
