Here are some things we can hope for in such an event …..
Every thing on the surface will Be thrown in the direction of the earths spin .
Huges waves worse than tsunami , more like on a global scale because all the fluids on earth will be thrown at the same direction .Also air speed would also increase naturally.
Every unrooted objects will similarly enjoy displacement and maybe mutual collisions with rooted Objects. Sobreaking of infrastructures,mountains, glaciers , etc etc
Gravity would increase as some portion of it which was counter acted with the earths spin would no longer will be shielding us.
Temprature would increase on the day side and decrease on the night side
Earth quakes and continent spliting or smashing together would be perfectly normal, so offcourse lava and stuff too would be seen
Also severe lightning discharges
etc etc the list continues……

• If it stopped just for a minute, we will still be able to walk but we'll become like supersonic things and the bulges and flattened poles of Earth will be gone and will make Earth a perfect sphere. And talking about our atmosphere, it'll be moving continuously at a speed of 1000-1200 km/h.
