When electric current is passed through lime solution there is deposition of calcium and  oxygen at the cathode and anode

Explanation:

  • Calcium hydroxide is the molecular formula of quicklime. When the current is charged there is separation of the cation and anion.
  • The cation migrate towards the anode and gets deposited. Hence there is deposited and of calcium at the anode sullu stuff in the cathode the oxygen is sequential distributed. This is a procedure for the production of calcium by electrolysis
