what happen when gypsum is heated at 373 k

It will form plaster of Paris (P. O. P). Or chemical known as calcium sulphate hemihydrate (CaSO4. 1/2H2O)
But if gypsum is heated above 373k (above 100°C) it will decompose to form dead plaster.
