What happen when iron nails are placed in copper sulphate solution?

Explanation:

When iron nails are placed in copper sulphate solution, the blue colour of the solution fades and some copper starts depositing on iron nails.

This all takes place because iron is more reactive than copper and hence displaces it from the solution.
