If kidneys stop working completely,  body fills with extra water and waste products. This condition is called uremia.  Untreated uremia may lead to seizures or coma and will ultimately result in death

Answer:

When kidney fails, urea gets accumulated in the body rather than being excreted out.. this poisonous accumulation of waste in the body can lead to death as no filtration of wastes is occurring.. But dialysis machine is used to filter the waste artificially.. Still if both kidneys fail, there are less chances of survival..
