Answer:

a. When light falls on an opaque object, the light gets blocked as the opaque object does not allow light to pass through it. As a result a shadow is formed.

b. When light falls on a transparent object, the light passes through it completely as the transparent object does not block any light.

c. When light falls on a highly polished surface, the light ray gets bounced back from the surface. When light bounces off a highly polished surface, an image is formed.
