When, CO2 is Passed Through Lime water, The Lime will turn Milky.

This Generally Happens, Because, The Following reaction takes place ;

$Ca(OH)_{2} (aq.) + CO_{2} (g) -----\ \textgreater \ CaCO_{3}(s) + H_{2}O(l)$

Here, CaCO_{3} Is generally  Milky in colour, 

Due To Which, Limewater Turns Milky....
