THANK YOU FOR THE QUESTION
=============================
WHEN THE RED BLOOD CELL(AKA RBC) IS KEPT IN A CONCENTRATED SOLUTION THAT IS A HYPOTONIC SOLUTION THE RED BLOOD CELLS SHRINKS.
THIS HAPPEN DUE TO THE PROCESS OF OSMOSIS THAT TAKES PLACE IN THE RED BLOOD CELL.
SINCE THE WATER CONCENTRATION IN THE SUGAR SOLUTION IS LOWER THAN THAT OF THE RED BLOOD CELLS CYTOPLASM THE WATER PRESENT IN THE CYTOPLASM OF THE CELL COMES OUT WHICH MAKES IT SHRINK.
HOPE IT HELPS
PLEASE RATE BRAINLIST
ALSO DON'T FORGET TO TAP ON THAT RED HEART.!

Swell up, because the conc. Of water is low outside the blood vessels than the inside of blood vessels so the water will flow from lower conc. to higher concentration. That's all !!
