hey mate your answer is
when silver chloride exposed to sunlight, then it will decompose in to silver.In this reaction sunlight is used as a catalyst and thus this type of reaction is also called as photo chemical reaction.In this reaction chlorine will evaporate due to the heat of the sun leaving grey coloured silver.
Reaction:::::
--------------------------
2AgCl→(sunlight)→2Ag + Cl2
hope it helps......

when silver chloride is exposed to sunlight than decomposition reaction takes place breaking silver chlride into silver and chlorine.Here sunlight acts a catalyst for the reaction .Such reactions where reactant decomposes with the help of sunlight are called photodecomposition reaction.The silver chloride which is white in colour gives chlorine which evarotes into the atmosphere leaving the silver which is grey in colour.The reaction can be shown as follows:-
∆
2AgCl(s)===>2Ag(s) + Cl2(g)
Such types for reactions are used for black and white photography.
Hope it helps you!
thank u!^_^
