Hydrogen Peroxides are formed together with sodium hydroxide when Sodium Peroxide dissolves in water.

Explanation:

  • Sodium Peroxide is characterized as an inorganic compound with a yellowish color.
  • It has a chemical formula of Na2O2 and is primarily employed in manufacturing other chemicals like bleaching powder, germicide, etc.
  • When it is dissolved in water, it gives the following reaction by producing hydrogen peroxide and sodium hydroxide.
  • Na2O2 + 2H2O –> 2NaOH + H2O2
